IRC Clients: Mirc - www.mirc.com - Basic IRC client...works on PC only. Invision - http://invision.lebyte.com/ - This is a new client that is well rounded with a lot of features. It is the new favorite in the channel. Excursion - http://excursion.cjb.net - This was the old favorite of many in our channel. It has a lot of features for just about any user. The site was down at the time of this writing, so I am not sure what the status of it is right now. I will keep you all posted. Polaris - ???? (The old link I had listed is now a porn site...you can go there if you wish, but I am not sure where to get polaris anymore. If you know where they moved to, please contact me in the chat channel.
SVCD (M2V) Codecs To play .m2v files, you need to have a "DVD codec" installed on your computer. This can either be in the form of having a software dvd player installed (PowerDVD, WinDVD, etc), or having just the codecs installed. Here are some codecs that work pretty well. They are made by a company called Elecard. They have two things you can get. One is a actual "M2v Player", which you can use to play the files if you want. You can also use Windows Media Player to play the files with this installed. Another file is just the "codecs". Here you can install the codecs, and associate Windows Media Player to play the files. Just a note, I have had better luck getting these codecs to work with Windows Media Player 6.4, instead of 7.1 or 8.1. Just my experience.
